Nakajima finishes T30 at Porsche Singapore Classic

Keita Nakajima concluded his Porsche Singapore Classic campaign on a positive note, securing a tied-29th placing with a closing four-under-par 68 on Sunday.

The JGTO Money Rankings winner showcased a commendable performance, mixing five birdies with a lone bogey to mark his best score of the week at the Laguna National Golf Resort Club.

Nakajima emerged as the top Japanese performer in the tournament, finishing with a solid eight-under 280, a notable feat considering his earlier struggles in making the 36-hole cut.

This result is expected to significantly bolster Nakajima's confidence as he prepares for next week’s Hero Indian Open.

In contrast, Rikuya Hoshino, who began the day five shots behind the leaders, faltered to mount a substantial challenge when it counted most, managing only a 76 to slip to joint 49th place with a total score of 284.

Similarly, Masahiro Kawamura faced difficulties in making an impression, posting a score of 76 to settle for joint 60th place with a total of 286.

The tournament's thrilling conclusion saw Sweden's Jesper Svensson emerge victorious after a tense playoff against Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat.

Svensson clinched the title after triumphing over Aphibarnrat in the third extra hole of the playoff, following their regulation play tie at 17-under 271.
